    Hi @DLGross,

I didn't encounter this issue from my side.

Could you please share about the way you are trying to create the App, within PowerApps studio, or from the SharePoint list(click the PowerApps tab)?

Generate an app to manage data in a SharePoint list

Generate an app from within SharePoint using PowerApps

Please follow those articles and see if it would work this time.

    Regards

The problem occurs when I click on the PowerApps, create link in a SharePoint list. It occurs using Edge, when I use IE 11, i get a  popup message with a Correlation ID error number and the following message. When I use Chrome, it works fine.

    WebAuthoring abnormal termination.

There is some kind of authentication problem going on here. The error for the session ID you posted is:

Error: Authentication failed. Please ensure your browser allows third-party cookies for the domain \"login.microsoftonline.com\". ADAL acquireToken failed for resource 'https://management.core.windows.net/': AADSTS50058: A silent sign-in request was sent but no user is signed in. The cookies used to represent the user's session were not sent in the request to Azure AD. This can happen if the user is using Internet Explorer or Edge, and the web app sending the silent sign-in request is in different IE security zone than the Azure AD endpoint (login.microsoftonline.com)

I have escaled to someone who understands the auth process better than I.

    Hi Dean,

As Andy suggested, this is likely due to security settings configured in Internet Explorer (they apply to Edge as well). Please verify the following:

    • In IE, click the gear icon on the top right and go to Internet Options
    • Under the Privacy tab, click "Advanced":
      • Make sure "First-party Cookies" are set to Accept
      • Make sure "Third-party Cookies" are set to Accept (we use this for authentication with Azure Active Directory. From the perspective of PowerApps, Azure AD is a third-party)
      • If enabling third-party cookies is not an option for you, please at least enable "Always allow session cookies"
    • If the above still doesn't solve your problem, go to the "Security" tab and ensure the sites "https://login.microsoftonline.com", "https://create.powerapps.com", and "https://*.create.powerapps.comare in the same zone.
      • Select "Restricted sites", then click the "Sites" button and ensure none of the websites above are listed.
      • Select "Trusted sites", then click the "Sites" button. Make sure that you either have none or that you have all 3 on the list. If you only have only some, but not all, this can cause the problem you experienced.

NOTE: Some organizations may prevent you from changing these settings manually. If you don't see the options I described above, you might have to contact your IT department for assistance.

Hopefully this will get you going. If it doesn't, please let me know and we can try additional troubleshooting steps.

UPDATE (4/26/2017): Updated instructions to also include "https://*.create.powerapps.com"

Thanks, adding https://create.powerapps.com to my trusted sites zone solved the problem. Is this documented somewhere that I have missed?

Would it be possible for a meaningful error message to be generated to prevent others from being blocked like I have been for the past day?

    I'm glad you're unblocked.

This is not documented elsewhere yet and we are working on improving how we detect the problem and provide troubleshooting steps. Thanks for your suggestions and keep sending us your feedback.

    Thanks!

Thanks, I think that a good place for this information would be on https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Office-365-URLs-and-IP-address-ranges-8548a211-3fe7-47cb-abb1-355ea5aa88a2
