Hi everyone,

I am currently working on a Power Automate flow where I am trying to integrate an AI Builder model (specifically [mention the type of AI model you're using: form processing, object detection, etc.]) into my workflow. However, I am running into some issues:

  1. The AI Builder action within my flow does not seem to trigger as expected. Are there any known issues or best practices for ensuring the model runs properly within a Power Automate flow?
  2. What are the recommended ways to handle exceptions or errors from AI Builder during execution? For example, how can I configure a flow to retry or send a notification when the model fails?
  3. Are there any performance optimization tips when dealing with large datasets or high-frequency requests using AI Builder in Power Automate?

I’ve already ensured that I have the necessary AI Builder credits, and my Power Automate environment is properly configured. Any suggestions or insights would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,
Dhruv Goel

Can your provide some explanation for this? What do you expect and what is it doing now. It will help to answer the question!

In Power Automate you can set actions to run only if the previous action fails or time-outs. You can set this in the settings of a specific action. I think it's called 'run after'. You can for instance use an action that send an e-mail when the previous action fails with the message "Something went wrong, please check the flow."

To be honest, the biggest challenge to solve is capacity here. Make sure you have enough licenses to account for: AI Builder usage AND for Power Automate requests. From your wordings I can't really see what volumes you are talking about, but if the volumes are enormous, then you need to make sure to check the capacity constraints and buy more licenses if needed.
