How can I send an email with Power Automate so that it gets the private sensitivity?

Posted on 25 Nov 2024 16:13:13 by 95
Hello,
I'll try to give you a brief description of the situation.
We have shared mailboxes in Outlook at the company. We would like to send an automated email from the HR department that contains sensitive information.
The users have said that they do it manually so that they mark the email via File -> Properties -> Sensitivity -> Private when sending. This probably means that only the owner of the mailbox sees the mail and other people with normal access to the mailbox do not.
Is there any way to implement this with Power Automate? While searching the net, I also came across the Purview Center and labels, but I think that's something else, isn't it?

Sensitivity options
Thank you very much

@VictorIvanidze Thank you very much, but how would this look like in Power Automate? Outlook HTTP Request? Url?

As far as I know, users who have full access to the shared mailbox do not see emails sent as "private".  Do you really want it?

Thank you very much for your quick reply. I've already seen that too, but I don't have a selection when I open the drop-down. Can you tell me where I can enable sensitivity as an IT Admin, I assume it is disabled.

There is a Sensitivity dropdown in the Advanced settings for the Send an Email V2 action for the Office 365 Email. If you have Sensitivity settings enabled you should be able to set it using that.
