PowerPages V2

Hey all,

I am trying to import a solution with an older (v1) version of power pages, but I am bouncing on the dependency. I know I can delete the dependency in the solution.xml, but I kinda don't want to do that... Is there any other solution?

Kind regards!

    Hi @DieterVanonckel

Just create the same template as you did in the first environment.

That will create the solution that you need.

    Hey @Jcook ,

    Thank you for the reply.

How do I get to know wich template they used? I added a default site and all dependencies were resolved. Only the V2 dependencies not.

Extra info, I do not think it's template related? @Jcook Since I have the correct packages, only the new version.

I'm not 100% sure about your specific situation (and if there's a specific updated solution for a specific power pages template), but you may need to log a support ticket with Microsoft. I remember having a similar situation in Dynamics 365, where the dependency was to a specific version of a Microsoft managed solution, and that version was no longer available in the Target environment - it was too long ago for me to remember exactly how we resolved it (suspect we updated the source environment).

If you still have access to the source environment have a look to see if there is an update available for Power Pages Core or the Template.  From the Admin center (admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com), select the environment,

    • For Core: when the environment is selected Resources->Dynamics 365 Apps
    • For the Template: when the environment is selected Resources->Power Pages Sites then in the command bar menu Web Site Package Details.

@DieterVanonckel  Can you make sure that the destination environment has the Enhanced data model turned on in the Admin center

Why is that @Jcook ? The source is standard data model.
