Filtering Out Hidden Rows When Reading Excel Data in Power Automate

Hello Everyone,

I am working on a flow in Power Automate where I need to read data from an Excel table using the "Get Tables" and "Get Rows" actions. However, I've noticed that my flow is also processing the hidden rows, which is not the desired behavior.

Is there a way to configure the flow or use a different action to only read and process the visible rows while ignoring the hidden ones?

I have tried looking through the available settings and actions but couldn't find a straightforward way to achieve this. I'd prefer a solution that doesn't require manual intervention (like manually deleting the rows in Excel before running the flow) or the use of external scripts.

Any suggestions or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi @andjang

No there is no such thing to be able to configure. What you might be able to do as a workaround is create a Script in your excel. Have Power Automate call your script and your script would only pull back the rows that are not hidden.

I know of no other way.

As I provided the answer and a suggested workaround as you asked, I'd appreciate if you marked this as Resolved/Answered.
