How can I restrict usage of the Portal Management app?

Hello,

How can I restrict usage of the Portal Management app?

We don't want to share the app with specific users, but also want to avoid that some users misuse the app. Is there another way I can restrict access to the Portal Management app (specifically on mobile)?

There are a few ways to restrict usage of the Microsoft Portal Management app.
Use app permission policies. App permission policies allow you to control which users can use a specific app. You can create a policy that allows only certain users to use the Portal Management app, or you can create a policy that blocks the app for certain users.
Use Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) groups. Azure AD groups can be used to group users together based on their roles or department. You can create a group of users who should not have access to the Portal Management app, and then assign that group to the app permission policy that blocks the app.
Use device restrictions. You can use device restrictions to prevent users from installing the Portal Management app on their mobile devices. This can be done by configuring the device's security settings or by using a mobile device management (MDM) solution.
