Power Pages not sending email confirmation email after registration

In my power pages portal, external users don't get an email confirmation upon registration, does anyone know how to fix this?

    Hi @Mfon,

     

    did you check if the mailbox in dynamics is setup correctly?

    You can check the process under dynamics --> processes. Have a look if you can see what's going on there. If the mails are correctly send but get the status pending, you have to activate your mailbox.

    In case you use that mailbox for multiple environments make, be sure that this environment is the one which should be connected. There is a 1:1 relationship between active mailbox and environments.

    Hi @Mfon,

     

    1. go to your environment
    2. go to advanced settings, you are now in dynamics.
    3. go to system and email configuration:

    5. Chose mailboxes
    6. You mailbox should be listed.
    7. Activate your mailbox and try it again.

    The mailbox can only be activated on one environment if you have a dev, test and prod. You probably need another mail to test things.

    I have tried your suggestion, but it still did not work. Please see the attached screenshot maybe there is something I am missing. I will appreciate if you could look at this again. Thank you.

    Hi @Mfon,

     

    that looks fine.

    Did you look inside the process which sends out the registration?

    Is there any logged mail, error or something like that?

     

    You can find that inside the Porcess Center in the same picture which I posted above. You than have to search for the flow.

     

    You should find these 3 flows:

    Have a look if there are some errors stored inside the process sessions.

    There is no error in the Process Session. please see the screenshot below:

    The email in question is used in other environments but wasn't approved as an outgoing email for those environments, could this be the reason?
