Power Pages - Access the backend code of the Registration and Login page

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know how to access the backend of this Register/Login button? I know I have to go to Content Snippet, but I would like to see the validation attached to Registration and Login button and which table this register button is mapped to? Also, do you think I can change the OOTB logic by any chance?

Thank you!

No. Authentication is built around and tightly coupled with the Contact Table.

    Hi Fubar,

Thank you so much for the information. And yes, that makes sense!

Also, do you think it is possible to remove the Contact table and add a custom table when I click the Register button?

I don't believe there any access to the current backend code. You can find a community version that has been created after Microsoft made available the source code at the time they killed off the onpremise version and only made it available online but this is several years ago now. https://github.com/Adoxio/xRM-Portals-Community-Edition (you may also find a link to the Microsoft version on that page)

If all you are looking for is password length, has upper, has lower, has number etc then the validations of local registration are as per the Site Settings (some which may not be present but that have default values if not present) https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-pages/security/authentication/set-authentication-identity

edit: the button itself is probably not mapped to a specific table, however after the form is processed on the servers, the output is updated to the Contact table.
