Hello,

I am new to power pages.

Using power pages, we are trying to show the list of customer addresses in the drop-down field also, send it back to D365 sales order. Below are the two scenarios we are trying to achieve.

1. Display the drop-down field showing the list of addresses for the user to select

2. Send this address back to the D365 sales order

Any ideas or suggestions on how to achieve this?  Thank you in advance.

    Hi @Peter_selvaraj,

as you want to submit data you will have to choose a form.

If you than have your table with all the addresses of your client you can use the security role basic user to only display his/her rows in the form which he wants to submit.

In case there are multiple users who can use the same addresses - in case you got companies as client -  you will have to create a team, give that team the needed privileges and assign that team to the rows which belong to that team.

    Hope that helps.

If you mean the standard address fields (address_1.... etc here's a little known fact, whilst they display on the Account and Contact record as individual fields automatically Address records are created for them behind the scenes these values actually get stored in an Address table that is linked to via account, or contact respectively.

Not sure or not if the Address table is exposed to the Portal or not, but if it is may be something you could use if it is.
