Code component option not available in Control style dropdown - Entity form metadata

Hi All,

I'm trying to use Rich text editor in PowerApps Portals by referring the below link
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/portals/component-rte-tutorial

Unfortunately, despite completing all of the conditions, I am still unable to select 'Code Component' from the Control style menu. The current version of the portal is 9.4.2.28. I created a new trial tenant, and using the same portal version, I was able to see Code component as a Control Style option. The only difference is that the portal (which isn't working) is built in a Dynamics 365 apps environment. Could that be a reason ?

Kindly help.

    Hey @Ashwin7104

I have tested this. Looks like it is a bug. I can't see either. Please raise a case with Microsoft. Adding link below

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/get-help-support?section=activity&ns-enrollment-type=Collection&ns-enrollment-id=w44jbw2wee2rw7

    Hope it helps.

    Hey @ragavanrajan ,

Thank you for testing it on your end as well. I have already submitted a support ticket for this issue and am awaiting a response.

    I'll keep the thread updated.

    Hi,

According to an MSFT support ticket, we created a test portal using the Starter template, and now we can see Code component as one of the control style choices.
