I have an app that scans QR codes within a gallery. Using the barcode reader control, when set to automatically scan, Android users are reporting that the app crashes often after the second scan (user select the scanner in any row of the gallery).
I switched the control to "Select to Scan" to avoid the automatic scan, but the same Android users are now reporting that the camera flickers, the QR code "green" light flickers on and off, and it is very difficult to focus and select.
So both options have issues with Android although it works fine on my iPad Air.
The control button itself is relatively small (about 50 x 50 pixels), but when tapped, the camera opens up normally, so I don't think the size of the control should matter. Scan quality is set to Automatic.
Any suggestions? Is this a memory issue, or an operating system issue? Users supposedly have updated the PowerApps app and their operating systems, and the devices are relatively new.
