Hi all.

I have a flow that creates a folder and than uploads files to it.  Thats working great WHEN the parent folder is write access obviously.  I do not want anyone, outside of the admins, to be able to delete these files, so I have the parent folder set as read.

I am having an issue granting temporary write access using the flow shown below.

The Id of the Grant access is going from the Id of the metadata above it.

When I run this with another users email, just to test, should It add them to the manage access for that folder?  I am having no luck and getting frustrated.

Thanks all!

    Hi @RobotRising.

Still having issues with the permissions working in flow, but for now I was able to add a custom permission level.

    Thank you for your help!

    Grant access
    Hello,

That action should be granting edit access to just that item that is in the Id field. Are you seeing that they still do not have access?

Another option would be to create a custom permission level in SharePoint that does not have delete (or any other permissions you don't want it to have) :How to create a custom permission level in SharePoint | SharePoint Maven
