Table Permissions with scope = Contact, means you have to have a Lookup field of type Contact that is popualted with your portal users Contact record on the records in question.
Scope = Self, access to the currently logged in portal users Contact record
Scope = Account, record has a Lookup that is populated with the Account record of the logged in user (where the users account is populated in the out of the box field)
Scope = Global, access to all records (but be mindful of exposing information and breeching privacy etc)

    Hi,

It seems like you didn't give the Read permission or the required Roles to the Contact Table permission. Please follow the below steps and screenshots to assign the Read permission and assign Roles.

    Steps:-

    1. Open https://make.powerpages.microsoft.com/ à Click on Security à Click on Table Permissions à Click on the Contact Table permission
    2. Select the required Relationship à Scroll down the form à Assign Read, Append, and Append To permission à Add required Roles like mentioned in the below screenshot à then click on Save
    3. Sync and Preview à You will be able to see the contacts in the contacts list(dialog box).
    Hope this helps.

    Try the following:
    • In Power Pages, go to Portal Management.
    • Under Table Permissions, ensure that the Contacts table has the correct permissions.
      • Access Type: Set to Contact Access.
      • Permissions: Ensure Read access is granted for the Contact table.
      • Scope: Set to Parent if this is part of a parent-child relationship, or Global for broader access.
