error with uploading file attachment 9004010D - No file attachment found for attribute: pa2_attachmentfile EntityId: xxxx

we have a table and we added the Attachments table as a lookup field. we added a multi step form for the file upload but when we try to upload files we get this error:

{"error":{"code":"9004010D","message":"Common Data Service error occurred.","cdscode":"0x80040217","innererror":{"code":"0x80040217","message":"No file attachment found for attribute: pa2_attachmentfile EntityId: xxxx."}}}

There are no customizations done on the upload form and it was working days before

Hi @pageflourin ,

We are having the exact same issue and I lodged a ticket with MSFT. Currently they are still invedstigating but did not say this is an known issue, I personally think it must be something done at their end maybe a service update.

@ragavanrajan @Lucas001 any ideas?

I found the known issue below but not sure when that happened. In our portal all the uplaod dunction all working fine until one day over a weekend, it stops working.

Hi @domliu, @pageflourin,

I never came across that error myself.
But I guess it is connected to the release wave update 2 2023.
Did you update your environment lately?
If you have a dev env could which is not updated yet, could you check if it is working there?

yes i checked Dev, Test and UAT all having this exact same issue, and we dont have a prod just yet, MSFT suppose to give me an update today so we will see.

This is an known issue not sure if you have any contacts in MSFT, if you do please can you check with then to see when will they fix this issue?

unfortunately, I am not in the status to have direct contact.
Other bugs related to new bugs have been solved right now, hopefully yours will too.
