Embedding canvas power app into power pages and licencing requirements

Our company is considering using a combination of power apps and power pages to contain staff safety documents, check in information and other forms. I have been reviewing the power pages plan which offers up to 100 authenticated users/site/ month. I am aware that we can embed canvas power apps into the page however, there are only a small number of staff who I expect to have a power apps licence. The remainder of people will be external users who may not have a microsoft account.

Does anyone know the licencing structure when embedding a canvas app into power pages? Can unlicensed users access the app since it is embedded on the pages or will all users who log into the site be required to have a power apps subscription?

@abax126 - did you get an answer for this. We are looking at a similar usecase where we would like to embed a canvas app in the power pages to be used by anonymous users. We would have the necessary anonymous user license for power pages but not sure how access to and licensing of canvas apps withing power pages would work.

I'm looking at the same. Our customer wants a more app like experience on the portal and a Canvas app would fit the bill, but extra licensing costs would be out of the question.

Just keep in mind in case you embed your CanvasApp that there are certain restrictions as canvas apps are mostly used internally and 100% meant to be for external usage.
