Enhanced folder content type

Hi everybody!

I've tried and tried, but I can't get this done.

  • I create a folder structure with a flow (done this with http request, but then decided to user the oob "Create new folder" action as I couldn't manage to create my "enhanced folder" content type)
  • Now I need the user to change the metadata of a folder.

Solution a) use a normal folder and ask the user to fill in the metadata via "quick edit". This is okay, but not perfect.

It would be fine if the user could fill in the needed data via Edit or the Properties menu, but this is only possible if I change the content type.

Is this possible somehow? I seems that different content types are only available in the drop down if it's a Document content type.

I've also tried using the ID of the content type without success.

Some http request magic to change the CT would be amazing!

  • the rest api command
  • which header to take (don't understand them fully yet)
    • "Content-Type" = "application/json;odata=verbose
    • "Accept" = "application/json;odata=verbose
  • body
    • { "__metdata": { "type": "SP.Folder" }, ...

Thanks in advance,

Hans

2nd small questions: First I create a folder and right after it I set some values via the flow. As I wasn't sure if my other flow (which runs on "created or modifed" would fire twice I change it to only start on "modify". Seems that SP gets it what there is a change and the 2nd flow runs fine.

I have the same question (0)
