Printing an embedded report in Power Pages

In Power Pages, I have a Power BI embedded report with an Azure map in it.  Is there a way to print/export that other than using the browser print function?  I understand exporting tables to Excel or csv, but I haven't had the need to export a map before.  And I'm still pretty new to Power Pages.  It would be printing or exporting something like this from the Power Pages / Power BI embedded report.

Here's what I found regarding printing or exporting a Power BI embedded report with an Azure Map visual in Power Pages:

    🧭 Current Limitations

    • Azure Maps visuals in Power BI do not export well using standard export options (PDF, PowerPoint, etc.) due to rendering limitations.
    • Power BI Embedded in Power Pages does not support native export or print functionality beyond what the browser offers.
    • The browser print function is currently the most reliable way to capture the visual, including maps.

    🛠️ Workarounds and Options

    1. Use Power BI Export API (Advanced)

If your report is a paginated report or you can replicate the map in a paginated format:

    • Use the Power BI exportToFile API to export to PDF, PPTX, or image formats.
    • This requires:
      • The report to be hosted in a Premium or Embedded capacity.
      • A custom button in Power Pages to trigger the export via a backend service.

    2. Embed a Screenshot or Static Image

If the map doesn't need to be interactive:

    • Use Power BI to take a snapshot of the map.
    • Embed that image in Power Pages for easier printing/exporting.

    3. Use Power Automate (Limited)

Power Automate can export paginated reports, but not standard reports with Azure Maps. It’s not ideal for this use case unless you redesign the report.

    🧪 Experimental Option

If you're open to a custom solution:

    • I can help you build a JavaScript-based print/export button in Power Pages that captures the embedded iframe content.
    • This would essentially mimic the browser print but could be styled and scoped more cleanly.
