Trigger "When a flow step is executed" is not firing from the business process flow

I have created a flow with the Dataverse trigger "When a flow step is executed". I have verified that the flow is in my solution. The business process flow has the step and you can run the flow but it just says "Processing" and never actually shows the run in the history of the flow. Does anyone know what I could be missing to trigger the flow from my business process?

I have just encountered the same problem.   I know the BPF knows about it because it fires to run, makes me confirm connections the first time, etc..    But there is no entry in Runtime history.

So after 2 years i was wondering if anyone figured out the problem with this? I am getting the same behavior...

So i managed to make it work by using the new designer, but when i run the flow it does run and complete but the form still says Processing and remains like that forever...

@SlickRick --  to update from "Processing"  at the "bus stop" level, you have to execute an DV Update Row By ID action  as part of your "When a flow step is executed"  trigger   (What gets called when you press "Run" from your "bus stop" screen:

    Hope that helps!
