Shared Mailbox Load Balancer using Power Automate

Problem: 80 / 20 Rule. 20% of the people are doing 80% of the work that results from an request being sent into a shared mailbox.

Possible Solution: Use Power Automate to forward the request to users' personal folder based on a rotation. Ex if I have 4 people, I'd number them 1 - 4 then Power Automate emails based on that rotation. Voila workload distributed.

I don't know if this is possible and not even sure where to start. I cannot get my mind wrapped around the first step.

Has anyone done anything similar? If so, can you share some details? Or is this not possible?

Thanks for your response! This is a great idea. I still have to figure out how to do what you just said but that makes a lot of sense.

    Hi @jonathani501,

You could store the four people's Emails and whose turn information into SharePoint list.

Once a task Email arrived in Shared Email box, Get items from the SharePoint list and check who is next to take task, then assign it to this man, then update the list to mark the next man who should take the task next time.
