Hello,
I'm searching for a way to remove the access from a powerapps portal. I don't want to delete the contact for that user, because I still need this data.
Is there a way to do so?
I could'nt find something in the forum or in the microsoft docs.
Regards
Jan
Hi @justinburch ,
thank you for pointing this out! Really helpful information.
Was also thinking about your second recommendation at the beginning, but since we've already using the Authenticated User Web Role for permissions, as you mentioned, the original solution is our preffered one.
Best regards
Jan
Hi @JanWill,
External identity users are still managed at the Contact level. Oliver's recommendation will solve your issue - if you delete the External identity, it will just be recreated when the user logins to B2C again (either on the same user record if email mapping is enabled, or on a new duplicate Contact).
Additionally, if your permissions aren't based on Authenticated User Web Roles, you could look to remove their additional roles, but would definitely +1 the original recommendation.
Hi @OliverRodrigues ,
thanks for your reply! This will work for local stored users, doesn' it?
We're planning on using Azure AD B2C. Do we in this case have to delte the external identity or will this be done in Azure AD B2C directly?
Best regards
Jan
Hi
There is an attribute in the Contact record that you can disable the user for login:
