Microsoft Identity Provider throws Access Denied

When configuring external identities, the Microsoft one (i.e. for using personal accounts), for a portal, fails to work with a generic "Unable to authenticate with the external account provider.". The URL offers a slightly better hint: `Account/Login/ExternalLoginCallback?ReturnUrl=%2F&Provider=Microsoft&error=access_denied`.

Any thoughts on how to diagnose/debug this?

Hi @anze ,

In the authentication settings > make sure you have enabled the "External Login" and "Open registration" Turned on.

Hi there, any luck with this? Pretty sure I've got the steps right but I'm getting the same error was well when trying to sign in with Microsoft

Yeah, for us, the problem was in the redirect URI which was incorrect.
