Create New - SharePoint Document Upload

Good Day,

I am trying to get a New document into SharePoint site. I am able to successfuly edit and existing record and view an existing record (I created the initial records directly in Dataverse).

But now I have a requirement whereby a User is able to Create/Upload a new document (Invoice) from the portal to SharePoint. I tried using a form with subgrid and get the following error.

I mean the form the user needs to fill in have one field (name) and then select file) Need this in order to have several Power Automate flows do their thing then.

I know my access to SPS and Table permissions are correct, and I'm faily sure that my table/form/view Primary and Child permissions are correct.... but there could be a issue there..... not sure.

Any help?

Hi @TheAvo1,

when do you get that error?
Is it when you submit the form?

That error occurs usually when there is a mistake or a type in come code either HTML or JS, but mostly JS.

Hi @Lucas001 ,

I don't even get to the add new record form. I get this error the moment I select the Create option on the list under actions.

I pointed this to either a page or a form (get the same error on either)

And the form is nothing more than a single field and then the subgrid linked to the Document Location (as I did for edit and view)

There's no custom JS added.

FYI. I raised a bug with the product team almost 30+ days back for this issue. There is an open fork for this which cannot be shared here!

I would suggest creating a ticket with the helpdesk and making it a high priority.

Hi @Somar_Apps ,

Not sure if any official fix by MS was applied to address the issue. I got so tired of waiting I eventually created a Power Automate flow to collect any uploaded document from the Dataverse location (using the native attachment function) and move it to SPS and then delete the instance on the Dataverse table.
