editing power apps templates

Good Afternoon all,

so i have been looking at the power apps templates mostly the property management one and i am struggling to working out how i can find and edit the data source and even have it save.

are theses template just for examples or can they be edited to suite how i want to use it ?

no idea if that works but i am trying to make my own with the following below

first i have my power app that one screen currently and on that screen it has 3 buttons at the top called (Available, Occupied and All) it also has a date picker and below theses i have a gallery. this is the first part

i have 2 list the first list is all our available propertys this list is called Properties List and it has the following columns, ID (default Column), Property Name (Single line of text column), Address (Multiple line of Text), Property Type ( Choice Coulmn), Rent Amount (currency column) this is my first list that will be used just for a database of all our property that we have . i will now tell you about my 2nd list

my second list will be where all the bookings are place it is called Accommodation Booking List and it has the following Columns , ID (default Column), Property Name (lookup columns that looks up Properties List Column "Property Name"), Tenent (Single line of text column for how is staying there) Start Date (date & time Column for the tenents stay), End Date (date & time Column for the tenents stay end)

but i have having difficulty with the filters to make it all work correctly

it is a template on power apps called Property Management

i can see the data in the collections but i cannot edit of change any of it

Hello Sorry folks for the late reponse

Could click on that icon on the sidebar
most templates uses collections for sample data
Check for properties like OnVisible or On App Start to get how the collections was created

HI Folks, I have the same question. I am trying to find the data source for a template in powerapps (Inventory Management Template) for my company so that I can edit it accordingly. Is there any way to reach the data source?

thankyou for your response its a little hard to show what i mean because i have made a few apps with power app that are connected to sharepoint lists but trying to find where this data is stored for this template and to edit it for example suite names and i dont need most of the contact info when reserving but also is i reserve a room close the app and reopen it nothing is saved

Templates can be edited to suit your ideas, do you mind sharing any image to be able to assist
