Hi Team,

I am trying to create an approval workflow in Teams using Adaptive card and Power Automate. Here i am trying to take the Expense Approval template (https://adaptivecards.io/samples/ExpenseReport.html). This template has a dynamic section where the Date, Category and Amount will be repeated based on the number of "expenses" JSON. (Template and JSON available in link above). this is done by looping $data="expenses" in template. The power automate doesn't understand the $ variable. When we take the variable out of a JSON parse or from the "When HTTPS request received" the variable is going to be "@ {trigger Body ()? [ 'variable']}". if we add this in the place of "expenses" the Power automate will automatically put the send and wait for response in a for each loop. the purpose of having a dynamic grid like look is not possible in this case.

The question I have is

  1. Is there a way we can get $ variable in Power Automate?
  2. If $ Variable is not possible, is there a way to handle dynamic grid like look in Adaptive card when the same has been send from Power Automate? the number of lines will be driven through the number of child array in the input JSON
