Hello Everyone,
How to implement row level permissions using policies , I have came across this video that explains the same but unable find the same kind of admin setup in New CDS.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYdH1JGuzV0
We would like set a row level permissions for certian set of users.
Any help would be much appreciated
This documentation goes through how security roles work in the latest version of CDS: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/admin/security-roles-privileges
What you may be looking for is user level privileges, as that enables users to own records to have different sets of permissions than if they don't.
Hope this helps!

Hi @Anonymous,
Do you want to set a permission on "item" level in CDS entity for certain set of users?
The user @Kevin23 has faced same issue with you, please check my response within the following thread:
If you want to set a permission on "item" level in CDS entity (CDS 2.0) for certain set of users, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.
Best regards,
Kris
I had not seen that feature before, but it looks to be for CDS 1.0 not 2.0.
I have written a previous post on the same question. Have a look at my reply in https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Common-Data-Service-for-Apps/Item-Level-Permissions-for-CDS-Entity-Items/m-p/163666#M691
