Multistep Form - Remove Form Title

Hi,

I am struggling to remove the Form Title from the multistep form. This is redundant information as the same already exists on the progress bar to the left. If I delete the text, the text comes back again.

Hope to get some help on this.

Regards,

    Hi @prathyoo ,

To remove this title, please follow below steps:

    1. Navigate to Portal Management App
    2. Open your Multistep Form and see which one is your first Form Step
    3. Navigate to Webpages and find out your Webpage that comes on multistep form as first form step. (Tip to find it quickly by is by using partial URL that you can get from browser if you open your page)
    4. Click on Content Page
    5. There is a Title column there, remove label from that field.

Another way is to use jQuery to hide it. Feel free to ask, if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

    Saud

Thanks. The multistep form is on my Home page. I have six steps and I need to remove the Form titles from each step.

When I checked the Web Page and also the Content Page, the control for multi-step form does not have anything populated.

Below is the form configuration -

Also the value being displayed as the Form Title seems to be the tab name of the mapped dataverse form. For all the steps involving the Account table, I have used a single dataverse form and in the Form Step, I have configured the tab. But, how do I remove the tab name from showing up on the multi-step form.

And interestingly another colleague of mine built a multistep form in his developer site. The config was very much the same. One dataverse form with multiple tabs and the multistep form with each step being a tab from the dataverse form. In my case, each step on the UI also displayed the form title (from the tab label of the dataverse form). But, in the case of my colleague, he does not see the form title. We compared our configs and we could not find any difference -

    My colleague's UI -

My UI where you can see the repetition of "CSO Info" text under the progress bar -

    1. Go to Data workspace
    2. Select the table
    3. Open the form
    4. Select "..." and choose "Switch to classic"
    5. If prompted for the reason why you are switching to classic, say "to hide the form tab label" (or skip)
    6. Select the section/tab with the title you want to hide
    7. Choose "change properties"
    8. Uncheck "Show the label of this tab on the form"
    9. Select OK
    10. Select Publish
    11. Select Save and Close

    Hopefully that helps.

@NickD_MSFT - thanks. That worked but this is cumbersome. This is the 6th studio experience that we I had to use to get this simple requirement to work. We are just starting out with the Power Pages and we have noticed that there are too many different studios required to build a simple form -

    1. Power Pages Design Studio for some configs.

    2. Editing the code using VS Code for some other configs.

    3. Portal Management App for other configs like metadata.

    4. Dataverse interface to add columns and relationships.

    5. Dataverse form studio for building the tabs, sections and fields.

    6. The classic experience of form studio to make other changes like this one.

This seems to be the start. I understand that there will another experience for administering the portal and for ALM of portal we would need to use XRMToolBox, for any other changes to dataverse we would need to used solutions.

I was running into the same issue and this solution worked for me, thanks.  I'm assuming that as Microsoft integrates classic Dynamics functionality with the Power Platform we will eventually be able to make this adjustment directly in Power Apps as opposed to using the classic interface?
