Hi all,

i am using an cloud-flow of the type instant and the flow gets triggered by an canvas app.

once the user logins to the app he must connect to all required connections, even when i configured my cloud-flow to use my specified login credentials.

i changed the run-only permissions

  • shared with the user group
  • connection used: use this connection (<connection name>)

(my user is the flow owner)

i assumed, that the user shouldn't enter the username and password for the connection but they have to.

Any ideas what i did wrong or missed to configure?

for eg. share-point connection it is working as expected (re-using of existing connections, configured by admins)

Cheers 🙂

    Hi,

To resolve this issue, you can try the following steps:

Ensure that the connection is properly configured in Power Automate and that
the user has the necessary permissions to access the file-share connector.
Check if the user is a member of the group that has access to the connection. If not, add the user to the group and try again.
Try using the Use this connection option when configuring the connection in your flow.
This will allow you to specify the connection to use for the action and
avoid the need for the user to enter credentials 1.
If the issue persists, you can contact Microsoft support for further assistance.
