Hey guys,
we had a security update, which forces us to us MFA on all of our accounts. Since then our build pipeline for D365 CRM Solutions isn't working anymore.
This issue is related to a sign-in considered "Risky", changing the account security status accordingly. (Check on Azure AD > Monitoring > Sign-in logs)
Probably caused by an unsuccessful login attempt, denied MFA, or a login from an unauthorized device. Doing this lets you build your project but it won't be a good long-term fix.
Solution:
Go to Azure > (search) Azure Active Directory > Properties (left pane) > Manage Security Defaults on the bottom > Turn to "No".
Hi
Facing similar issue for the Export Solution. Is there a way to setup similar to the PowerChecker Solution task (Service Principal and Service Principal Key) in Azure AD for the Service Connection ?
Thanks
Manish
@Anonymous see if you can use app-passwords for your MFA account as mentioned here.
Hi Kris,
Is support for MFA planned in PowerApps Build Tools?
Thank you,
Vijay
Hi @Anonymous ,
Based on the error message that you mentioned, it seems to tell that your O365 Administrator has made some changes to your account or your account has been moved a different location.
I agree with @Menik1 's thought almost. Please check if you have enabled MFA Authentication option for your account, if ture, please consider disable the MFA Authentication or ask your Administrator to bypass the MFA server for your account.
Best regards,
If you use a personal user to authenticate, you can generate an app password and use this to authenticate.
If you use a service user, you should ask your O365 admin to enable bypass MFA for this service user.
