I have been searching for quite a while to solve an problem i am having with Project for the web.
We have rolled out Project for the web with a peam of PM's within our organization. When using project for the web in the default environment(just opening project for the web from office 365) and creating a project all users added to tasks in the project get notifications when the task is assigned and when daily once the task is due.
However we have deployed a new production environment with a power apps project dashboard. This environment is requires as it limits the access for people to edit our dashboard. But it also requires the Project to be created within this environment, this is not an issue for working with the project plan itself. I can see that its in the environment by the URL showing the enviroment variable "https://project.microsoft.com/organizationname.com/taskgrid?projectId=xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxxx&org=mycustomenv.crm4.dynamics.com"
The issue is with any projects created in this environment the users assigned tasks do receive the notification email that the task has been assigned, but they do not receive a reminder email when the task is coming due. I cannot find the setting to correct this issue.
I have checked that the project user/common/owner & system roles are created within the environment as i thought this might be related. but still no joy.
Any help would be appreciated.
