How can I refer to a choice column from a dataverse formula column

Hi there

I can refer to a text column from a dataverse formula column, but when I try to refer to a choice column, it gives an error (see screenshot below where Name Prefix is a choice column). It wants text and I suspect the error is because a choice is stored as a number, but I can't see how to refer to the text choice values and avoid the error.

Any suggestions?

Currently, Power fx columns in dataverse can’t use Choice (option set) columns in formula.

what is the use case you are trying to do?

Thanks for the link. Saves me looking further. I'll shortly accept your reply as a solution.

I frequently want to do two things:
Concatenate text from a text column with text from a choice column, as per the above example
Use text from a choice column in an IF statement, either as part of the conditional test, the true response or the false response
For the moment, I'll continue to use real-time workflows as they can do the above and:
Work on the Primary Name column
Refer to data in related tables
I was investigating the Power Fx column because I'm nervous that Microsoft might discontinue functionality which looks old but works (real-time workflows) with functionality that isn't yet fit for purpose but looks new (Power Fx column).
