PowerApps attachment control, ability to select multiple files?

I want to upload multiple files at a time to sharepoint library using attachment control.

I know how to pass multiple files to Flow and use the flow to upload all the files to SharePoint library.

What I want to do is select multiple files from the browse window that appears when you click on attachment control. Is that possible, or is there any other work around?

Any help appreciated.

    Hi,

if you already have Windows 11 installed and using the Microsoft Edge Browser, you can transfer files from your smartphone to the attachment control in your PowerApp. Here`s how:

1.) Open your app in Windows Edge Browser
2.) Select "Add Files" in your attachment control
3.) In browser window, choose the option "Upload from smartphone/phone" (left of the "Open" button)
4.) Scan the QR code. Make sure, that your computer and smartphone is in the same network.

    5) Pair your smartphone with the computer.

6.) Now, you can select multiple files or pictures on your smartphone up to 10 files.

7.) Select "Upload". Short time later, your files are in the attachment control an can be saved.

    Regards
    Adam

    Hi Everyone!

If you add PowerApps as a new tab in your Microsoft Teams and access your App from there using MS Teams Mobile App, it will give you the option to select multiple files for the attachment control in PowerApps.

Hope this help in resolving the frustrating and time consuming limitation of PowerApps attachment control.

Does anybody know if a "User Voice" request has been made for this feature? If not, I'll add it. Thank you!

    Hi,

Is there any update on this? Is it supported now to select multiple files in the browser window with this control?

Re: PowerApps attachment control, ability to select multiple files?

    Hi @Anonymous ,

Sorry, that is not possible - the attachment control as you have discovered is configured to deal with one file at a time.

Re: PowerApps attachment control, ability to select multiple files?

I have done that. The maximum number of attachments is 6 which was set by default.

Still I am not able able to select multiple files at time from the file browser window. Maximum number of attachments only allows me to add multiple files to attachment one by one.

So in the file selection window in the image, I can open only one file at a time.

I would like to be able to open multiple files at a time.
