Subgrid in power apps portals

Hello Community Experts,

I had added a subgrid named, "meter details" which should only show the meter details related to that contact in dynamics 365.

I should add the sub grid to one of the web page in the portal and it should show all the fields present in the subgrid in the form of columns and the sub-grid should be read only.

How do i achieve this requirement?

Kindly guide,

Best Regards,

Sumaira

    Hi

If you want only to show the subgrid on a page, I would actually recommend using an Entity List, as you have more options: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/portals/configure/entity-lists

Make sure to enable for Entity Permissions and create an appropriate Entity Permissions to filter by the contact

    does that meet your requirement?

@OliverRodriguesThanks for mentioning about Entity list.

I created an entity list and i have just added below details. Is entity permissions necessary?

I'm logged in presently and it is only showing related contacts as required

    Have i created it right?

    Kindly guide,

I think you need to add entity permission with scope to the entity list and associate the entity permission to the web role. Post that assign the web role to logged in contact(user).

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/portals/configure/entity-lists#securing-entity-lists

Hi @Sumaira just follow the docs provided by @gisingh and you should be able to achieve your requirement

just a quick one, there might have been a type there, the scope of your Entity Permission will be contact

please let us know if you need any further assistance
