I need help on how to edit an existing Dynamics 365 Template on PowerPages. I would like to use the Employee Self Service portal template.
When I select the template from Dynamics 365 category, there is no way for me to edit the page except using "Edit Code" via VSO. But if I choose other templates, I can edit the page contents.
Hey evergara,
To edit an existing Dynamics 365 template on Power Platform Power Pages, you have to follow these steps:
Go to the Power Apps portal in the Dynamics 365 environment and select the template you want to edit.
Click the "Edit" button in the template header to open the template editor.
Make the desired changes to the template, such as adding or removing elements, modifying the layout, or changing the styles.
Preview the changes by clicking the "Preview" button in the template editor.
Once you are satisfied with the changes, save the template by clicking the "Save" button in the template editor.
Publish the template by clicking the "Publish" button in the template header.
Note: To edit a template, you must have the appropriate permissions, such as "Edit" permissions for the template and the underlying entities.
It is recommended to create a new version of the template and test the changes before publishing the changes to the production environment. This way, you can revert to the previous version if something goes wrong.
