Attaching Power Pages licences

Hi
We are just releasing our first Power Pages site, nothing too fancy for the first effort.

We have bought the licences and attached these to the environment we want to use but how do we attach/assign the licences to the individual Pages site? Reading the various Microsoft documents it seems that we need to do this last step but we can't find where to attach the licences to specific (named) sites.

Alternatively, is it a case that licences are just assigned at the environment level and then simply shared between all the sites within the environment?

Is anyone able to confirm which it is and if licences need to be assigned to specific sites how do we go about it?

Thanks in advance.

    hi @Gary_Eden ,

To assign licenses you need to go to Power Platform Admin Center > Capacity. In Add-ons section click Manage. There you need to select the proper environment and there you can assign Anon and Auth capacity for Power Pages (see attached screenshots).

    Hi @Gary_Eden

Please follow the instructions from @OOlashyn. In addition, here is the official document

that covers how to view licenses and who can assign/deallocate licenses.

    Hope it helps.

    Hi @ragavanrajan  & @OOlashyn

Thanks for confirming, we have followed the notes but information elsewhere on Power Pages licencing appeared to suggest that you licence each Pages site separately.

However, what you confirm is that licences are set at the environment level which is much more flexible as it allows the licence user numbers to be split across multiple sites.

For example you could have a licence for 500 anonymous users and this could be used by just one site with 500 users. However, by having the licence at environment level you could (in theory) have 500 sites with 1 user each.

Licencing at environment level makes it much more palatable as you don't end up paying for licences that you have no way of using. In our example, our first (internal) site would have up to 200 users and we would have lost the extra 300 if we had to attach at site level.

    Thanks again.
