What Flow licence might be required when creating a record via Power Pages?

I want to create a Power Pages website, for authenticated users, who will all have Power Pages licences, The users will submit records into the Dataverse. A Flow will trigger on creation of each record. Separately, there will be a small number of licensed internal Power Apps users who will interact with the records that are created by the Power Pages users.

My question is, what sort of Power Automate licence is required for the Flow that will trigger on creation of the record? Do I need a Power Automate per Flow licence?  Or do the Flow licences of the Power Pages users or the Power Apps users cover the execution of the Flow? I would want the Flow to run under its own identity.

Is the licensing scenario different if the Flow does not trigger automatically? What if the Power Apps users were to manually select each record in the model driven app and manually trigger the Flow in the context of their Power App licence (as they are licenced to do).

Thank you in advance for any advice.

    Hi @PL993,

once you create a power page the user already must have access to dataverse power apps and power automate.

When somebody on your power page is submitting a form and you run a flow in the background it's not the user itself runnign it but the user you created the flow with. I guess you should not face any problems with that.

What we usually do is create a user specifically for flows or one power page as a lot of things belong to that user.

Even if you users run the from from an MDA it's still the owner of the flow who needs that license. You only need to make sure that the users have the privileges to run the flow and/or run the flow as that user.

    Hope that helps.
