Hello guys,

I am just wondering is there any solution to optimize the Excel file that is a part of Power Automate flow.

My flow consists of a few Compose actions to extract information from email and add a row in Excel file which is located on SharePoint. Since the Ecxel file contains a lot of sheets, formular and data, the flow just times out and ut doesn't work pretty much. Could you please help with advise.

Thank you in advance.

    Hi @AK989 ,

    Are you referring to the fact that a separate "add a row" action times out? I'm afraid there's no way to improve the efficiency of an action at the moment, as opposed to reducing the number of apply to each in the flow to increase the speed of the flow, because adding a row is a necessary step in your flow. I recommend that you increase the run timeout limit for your actions.

    I recommend you increase the Duration of Timeout. Following are few examples.

    • 1 Month -> P1M
    • 1 Day -> P1D
    • 10 Minutes -> PT10M
    • 10 Seconds -> PT10S
    • 1 hours 30 mins -> PT1H30M

    Best regards,

    Rimmon

    Unfortunately, it's a corporate account and I don't have access to encodian. It seems pretty cool though.
