Hello Experts,

I have one Entity List shown on one of the web pages in the power apps portal application.

In that Entity list, I am displaying the week (lookup field) from the entity on the web page as shown below.

But as this is a lookup field from another entity. it is considering this week filed as string, hence my entity list is getting sorted alphabetically when I sort my entity list using week lookup field.

But I want to sort this week lookup filed as descending, it should display the latest week first.

what are all possible ways to achieve this?

any quick response is appreciable.

Hi @praneshJ

by any chance would you have another field in your lookup with a proper date format that you could do the sorting?

if you can have that is great, because then we can inject JS to play with the sorting

another option would be renaming your data to a date format like yyyy-mm-dd and inject JS to change the format to display as MMM-dd

Hi @praneshJ ,

You requirement is not supported in Entity View. Please consider trying to create custom view using jscript.
