I have a Power App embedded in a Power BI report. I share the App, Power BI report and give permissions on SharePoint List to a guest user.

When trying to use the embedded app the guest user has the standard Allow and sign in message.

After allowing I get an Error - We weren't able to add this connection. Please try again.

An error occurred during authentication.

The only way I have found to make it work is for the guest user to initially sign in to SharePoint directly. Once this has been done it  works. This isn't an ideal process as we don't really want the Guest users to access the SharePoint site.

Is there a way for the Power App to authenticate to SharePoint directly?   Is there a setting that the first login to SharePoint triggers?

All help appreciated. Thanks
