How to display account related contact records in power pages

Hello Power Pages Community,

I am currently working on a power pages project and facing some challenges where I want to display invoice records for the customers but my customer in the invoice table is an account, and in an account table, there may be multiple contacts.

So I want to display the records related to the account.

If anyone has encountered a similar issue or has experience with integrating account-related contact records into a Power Pages, I would greatly appreciate any insights, tips, or best practices that you can share.

Hi @RohitAswal, there are couple of ways to show only account related contacts. The simplest one is setting up the table permissions for contact.

Go to Set up -> Table permissions -> either add, if not already added, or modify the permission settings related to Contact and configure it accordingly.

Let me know if you have any questions, thanks!

    Hello @anwarluck ,

The solution you provided does not seem to work, do you have other solutions?

    here's my question.

I have invoice records that I want to display on the power pages based on login users, but the problem is my invoice table customer field is set as an account not contact, how can I display records in these cases?

@RohitAswal The solution that @anwarluck provided is exactly what you are describing. You have a customer field on your invoice table and are populating the field with records from the Account table rather than the Contact table. In Power Pages, edit the Table permissions for the table you are displaying (invoice). Select the appropriate permissions (read, write, etc.), and, *this part is very important*, set the Access type to Account Access. As long as your logged in user's Contact record is associated to their Account record, they will see invoices for their account.

In case there is confusion, all logged in users have a Contact record. Those Contact records are associated to Account records. This allows you to group related Contacts under Accounts and share records with those users under the same Account.

    Hi @eccsolutions

I have a similar situation, as you mentioned:

"In case there is confusion, all logged in users have a Contact record. Those Contact records are associated to Account records. This allows you to group related Contacts under Accounts and share records with those users under the same Account."

However, I'm uncertain about how to link the account record to the contact. In the screenshot below, I've added a Primary Contact in my Account table, but the contact table is not referencing the record in account table. After following the solution from @anwarluck , my table isn't displaying any data. Do you have any insights on this? thankss
