I need to create a record in F&O based on a event in Dataverse.
The trigger works and I can configure the action for F&O.
However, i dont see all attributes in the action (see below) - and because of that, the creation failed.
Error: Action 'Create_Record:_Lot' failed: An error has occurred. Write validation failed for table row of type 'AcnChLotDataEntity'. Infolog: Warning: Field 'ESDS external ID' must be filled in.

After a bit of testing and "try and error" we found the problem.
The F&O attribute needs the value 'Yes' for both the 'Allow Edit' and 'Allow Edit On Create' properties.
After the next deployment / update the attribute can be used.
