I am creating a new table using option create a new table
(preview) by importing sharepoint list. Sharepoint list has 900+ records but in data verse table it shows only 20 records, however all columns got cretead successfully  but not rows. I have also tried to connect with powerapps and show the data in gallery  to validate but still it only shows 20 records. What could be wrong here ?

    I experience the same error when using csv or xlsx files.

    I have the same issue trying to import data from a Sharepoint list with several hundred entries.  No matter what I do the table population caps at exactly 20 lines.

    The advice I've found online is variously;
    1. Wait a while, it's a slow process (I've been waiting for months with no further data appearing in my table) or
    2. The data is there but isn't displayed (My learning model isn't being trained because the table's population is under 50, so I'm pretty sure it isn't there).

    I'm not satisfied with either explanation for the bracketed reasons.  I'm hoping MS can come up with a fix.

    How are you importing the records?? Have you tried dataflows? Not sure how are you using PowerApps to import because PowerApps has delegation issue , though not for 20 records, yet, I'll suggest to see if someone has set the delegation row count as 20. Try to import records using standard data import tools like dataflow or ADF.
