Eventbrite Connector to create attendee record in Dynamics and update attendance once checked in

Hi all,

I'm using the EventBrite connector to create a custom record on an entity I've created to track contact and lead events in Dynamics.

I had a look at the available triggers for EventBrite and noted the only trigger that's close to what I need is the Event Order trigger but that specfically updates details on the person who's ordered the tickets and not the attendees. I can't find any triggers on the connector that would:

a) Create a record in Dynamics for each attendee

b) update those attendees when we check them in with the app

Kind regards,

Mick

    Hi all and @Brad_Groux ,

I've figured out an interim solution to this issue. See below blog post on step by step guide for using Flow to retrieve EventBrite Attendee details.

The idea is you'll be using the HTTP GET flow step to connect to the EventBrite Attendee API endpoint.

Their API documentation outlines all of the webhooks available for attendees.

    Thanks @Brad_Groux ,

I've been testing the http request trigger to see if the webhook triggers from Eventbrite's attendee webhook would provide what I need. The problem is I don't know what the sample payload for that webhook trigger is so I don't know what I can and can't bring in as dynamic values into a flow.

Does anyone have experience with using the eventbrite webhooks and what it can do in terms of attendees.

It should be pointed out, that the Eventbrite Connector is currently in Preview. Have you looked into the Status under the OnOrderChanged trigger?

    Status string
    The status of the order.
    Path: status

Possibly this has something you can use, like a toggle to redeemed or similar?

If the specific functionality you are looking for isn't available, you may want to reach out to Eventbrite support and/or request or add an idea to the Flow Idea Forum. I see that you posted one here, but there is also another one submitted here
