Hello,
New to Power Pages. I'm trying to create a dropdown. I tried to create using a list, but it did not work.
Is there any way we can have the dropdown on the Pawer Pages site?
Thanks,
Omi
@omi18 If your field is a Entity Reference (Lookup) then you can change the Field metadata to be a dropdown on the form.Select the form in the Portal Management (App) If your field is a lookup then you can choose the following option:
Hello @eugenevanstaden ,
Do you have any examples of this?

Hello @GeraldGut ,
It worked after a couple of refreshes.
nice to hear.
Thx to @eugenevanstaden for the useful hint. 😉
The Render lookup as dropdown is not working for me. Its still showing the search icon and then the pop comes. But I don't know why.

Re: How to populate drop down from other table in power pages portal? I have created drop down in design studio in a form and populate it with data type as choice, added values in choice. But I want to populate it from other table. How to do that?
Hi @shivani91
First you have to make it as lookup column instead of dropdown ,then in power apps portal select 'Render lookup as dropdown' option in the control style of form metadata
I did the same by choosing related table and then selected ''Render lookup as dropdown. I am able to see the dropdown but with no values. Dropdown is empty.
Can you confirm that you have table permissions set for this second entity?
