Hi !

Can anyone help me to find out solution to clean 1/1/1900 date values away.

This seems to come when imported from excel a lot of date fields where some of the date fields are still empty.

Data source in this case is CDS for my app and those problem fields are defined as Date type of fields.

these empty dates are shown in powerApps screen as 1/1/1900.

Re: Date problem for empty date values imported into Common Data Service database

    Hi @Anonymous,

    Thanks for the feedback.

Would you please share more information about the date column under the Excel table, any specific format or configuration has been made for the date column?

Just from the result, it seems this is related with the Excel date range limits.

For calculated date, the allowed earliest date is 1/1/1900.

See here: Excel specifications and limits.

If possible, please remove the calculation of the date column, and input the date in string format.

Currently the available way to modify the data under Common Data Service is through Excel, or using PowerApps. And PowerApps by now can't patch blank values.

So if possible, please modify the data by choosing to Open in Excel, then do the modification there.

    Regards,

    Michael
