After users sign in to a local account, I want to allow them to view a PDF in my Portal. Is this possible? I tried to provide an "Anyone" sharing link to a file from SharePoint in an iFrame but am not getting a result.
Yes, this should be possible. Can you provide more details on what you did, and what didn't work?
What do you mean by not rendering? Does the IFRAME not show up in the source code for the page? Or are you getting a "Connection Refused" message?
The second issue; it says the site refused to connect.
The issue is on the SharePoint side. In order to embed an IFrame, it must be allowed by the site where the IFrame is pointing to, in this case, SharePoint (this is done using the X-FRAME-OPTIONS header). I'm not sure if you can do this with SharePoint - I did a quick search and I don't see an obvious way of doing it.
