Creating an images folder to store images for the portal

Hi,

We have image reference in our custom css and we wanted to store all the images within a images partial url. How can that be configured in the web files.

I tried the following three configurations but none of them worked -

Next, created a page called images and used that as the parent page -

And then tried another variation of the partial url -

Actually, this config finally worked -

But, no idea if this the right approach.
