Common Data Service Configuration Migration tool - cannot access specific environment

Hi folks. I am using the CDS Configuration Migration tool to transfer Dataverse records between environments. I've used this tool in the past with great success.

This time, I'm trying to migrate data from Dev to UAT. I'm able to create a schema from Dev and export the data without issue. This is where things start to get weird.

On the Import step, I'm able to log into and access any environment except for UAT (I have access to 7 environments). I've selected every single other environment and I authenticate and am given the option to start the import. With the UAT environment (which my account has full access to and is a System Administrator in), the application kicks me back to the login screen. No error, no logs generated, nothing. This behavor occurs no matter which step I choose - Create schema, Export data, and Import data all fail when trying to access this UAT environment.

I reinstalled CMT and the behavior persists.

This is odd, because I've imported data into UAT before without issue. Does anyone have any ideas?

Update: I found some logs that mention "The remote name could not be resolved [incorrect org URL]".

I updated my org URL to a friendly name (well before I started using this tool), but it seems the tool is trying to reach the org using its original URL. Any idea how I might update that?

Hello again! I figured this out.

By editing the C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\PowerPlatform\CMT\9.1.0.110\tools\DataMigrationUtility.exe.config file I was able to update the DirectDonnectionUri value within the <appSettings> block to the correct organization URL.

After updating this file and saving, I reopened the utility and left 'Display list of available organizations' unchecked. I'm in!

Note that if you check the box and proceed, you'll need to reopen the app for it to work again.
