PowerApps Portal: Can we display the Entity Form for editing within the main portal browser window, instead of the separate popup window?

Hello Community,

In portal, when clicking on the "Edit" button on the entity list view to open a record to edit on its entity form, the out of the box behaviour is that it will pop up the entity form for editing in a separate popup window.

Is it possible to disable the popup window, and have the entity form for edit displayed directly within the main portal browser window/web page itself? Reason for this is the real estate of the form. Imagine we have a huge entity form with many fields, the popup window may be a bit small to show all the fields. If we can display the entity form for editing from within the main portal page then it may look better to the end users.

Does anyone know how we could achieve that if it's possible?

Thank you!

    Hello @Anonymous ,

If you have this configuration set within the Portal Management App-> Entity List, you will see the edit page within a modal pop-up

Change the target type drop down to Web Page and add the appropriate Web Page in the next look-up field.

Mark as solution if this answers your query.

    Cheers,

    Pranjali

    Hi @Anonymous

Go to Entity List record and click on 'Options' tab.

    - Checked 'Advanced Settings' checkbox

    - It will show Edit form dialog.

    - Clear the cache and check.

Now edit page will open in same page as popup.
