Can't edit pages built from a custom web template in Power Pages Design Studio (PPDS)

After building a custom web template (in code). I assign the custom web template in Power Pages Management Studio (PPMS) to a page template (that uses the custom web template) and then build a new page based on the page template from the web template. I find I cannot edit the new page (based on custom templates) in the design studio. Now I think it might have something to do with the liquid code {% editable %}. Any ideas as to allow the PP design studio work with custsom templates/pages?

The design studio will be expecting a content block that includes the page copy (as all of it places its content inside the Web Page's Page Copy field) something like

<div id='mainContent' class='wrapper-body' role='main'> {% include 'Page Copy' %} </div>

(note: you are not editing what you have directly added in your Template in the designer, but areas that are exposed like the Page Copy)

FYI: 'editable' is what was needed to be able to edit from the old portal front end editor that is now deprecated

Fubar,

Thanks, that removed the error and I can select the included template code in the PPDS. However, when clicked on it does not pull up the "normal" edit options. Instead it just offers to open PP Mgt app to edit. I was hoping it would act like any other component in PPDS.

But I appreciate your answer. I can move on now.
