Hello,

I have created a flow that takes entries from an Excel sheet and automatically adds it to a share point list. The flow currently adds the entries to the share point list but when it finishes running it keeps giving me the following error:

OpenApiO perationParameter TypeConversionFailed. The 'inputs parameters of workflow operation 'Create_item' of type 'OpenApiConnection' is not valid. Error details: Input parameter

'item/Equipment' is required to be of type 'Number/double'. The runtime value '*' to be converted doesn't have the expected format 'Number/double.

The “Equipment” field in the share point list and Excel sheets is a currency.

I basically just want to figure out why I keep getting this error and resolve it. Thank you.

I updated the post with my latest flow. All I need to know is how to rewrite the function for “organization “ field which is “currency “ type. On the “create item” step. Thank you.

it's really hard to understand the logic behind the flow with the screenshots you've shared. I can't tell if the Equipment field is required as it doesn't appear in your Create Item screenshot. If it is, you will need to ensure you have a value in there.

It looks like you have two separate apply to each actions which could be your problem. However, as mentioned above it's hard to follow the logic of your flow without seeing a full screenshot. Ensure New Designer and click each action to expand it. Upload a screenshot of your full flow in edit mode.

@AE-12082315-0 It's hard to offer any specific recommendations without seeing your full flow and the logic behind it. If you are using the new designer, toggle it off and click each action to expand it. Upload a screenshot of your flow in edit mode.

However, your error indicates that you are trying to update a SP list field (Equipment) with a value that isn't in the format required.
